1. The Short Version

Gluify does not collect, store, or transmit your personal data or usage habits. There is no telemetry, no tracking, and no hidden analytics. We build privacy-first software.

2. Local Data Storage

All data generated by Gluify—including your window layouts, rules, cluster names, and application preferences—is saved locally on your machine in your AppData folder. This data never leaves your computer and is never transmitted to us or any third party.

The open-source libraries we use for core functionality (such as VirtualDesktopAccessor and mINI) operate entirely offline.

3. App Updates (WinSparkle)

To ensure you have the latest features and security patches, Gluify uses the open-source library WinSparkle to check for updates. When the app checks for an update, it makes a standard web request to our update server. The app checks for updates on app startup and whenever you request it, otherwise the app is entirely offline.

This request inherently includes your IP address and operating system version so the server can deliver the correct file. We do not retain this information; it is used strictly for the purpose of version checking.

4. Payment Processing

When you purchase a license for Gluify, the transaction is handled securely by our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. We do not collect, process, or have access to your credit card information. Lemon Squeezy provides us only with the information necessary to fulfill your order and generate your license key (such as your email address).
